Bente Hoffmann

Hi, I am Bente. I am born and raised in the Copenhagen area and have lived here most of my life. And I never stop exploring the city. I have always been keen on telling good stories and I have done the storytelling when working as a writer, an editor, a lecturer, a teacher – and now I do it as a qualified tourist guide. I would love to share some of the good stories from the long Danish history with you and give you insight in how it is and was to live in the pocket-sized Danish capital.

I do guided tours and city walks where you experience the famous and classic sights and landmarks in Copenhagen. But also tours to less known areas like the new and sustainable Nordhavn district with interesting architecture or Nordvest, the new up-and-coming neighbourhood next to cool Nørrebro.

Do you want to leave the city and recharge and exercise a bit? I have specialized in short guided hikes in the old royal forest Jægersborg Dyrehaven (The Deer Park). While we walk you will experience fragments of Denmark’s history close up and many deer in the forest.

It would be my pleasure to be your guide and help you get the most out of your stay in the Copenhagen area.
