CPD-akkreditering
CPD accreditation
With the CPD accreditation scheme, the individual members of the Association of Tourist Guides have the
opportunity to prove that they are continuously updated with professional knowledge. It is therefore a
requirement that the tour guide has participated in a certain amount of relevant activities annually. The
Association of Tourist Guides' Education and Study Committee approves the activities that the individual
guide has participated in. The individual guide participates in this accreditation on a completely voluntary
basis.
The CPD activities cover a broad range of activities and learning that both maintain and improve the
knowledge and qualifications that are relevant for professional guides, and that also reflect best practice
within the field of guiding. Examples of this can be participating in classes, lectures, walking tours and the
like that include a wide range of subjects that are relevant for guides who are active in their field.
